Emotional Intelligence Program
Would you like your people to create a more positive work environment, successfully manage conflict, make better decisions and communicate objectives in a way that attracts, inspires and motivates your team? It’s not a matter of IQ, but EQ. Emotion Intelligence, or the emotional quotient, is “the ability to recognize and regulate emotions in ourselves and in others.” Yale psychologist, Peter Salovey, the author of the term EQ, said that “IQ gets you hired, EQ gets you promoted.” It is a proven tool for enhancing leadership ability and overall effectiveness – both personally and professionally.
Our experientially-based EQ program is practical and actionable, giving participants an opportunity to learn how to identify their own, and others’ feelings, identify patterns of behavior, emotional triggers and create individual develop plans for implementing improved EQ. We use the SEI Emotional Intelligence Assessment, a statistically valid and reliable 104-question self-assessment tool that measures for eight key competencies across three major areas.
Conflict Resolution Program
Conflict occurs is every workplace. It is how you deal with conflict that determines whether the “incompatible concerns of two people” either build your team... or break it down. We help your team discover the benefits of healthy conflict and an awareness of their personal conflict mode. We utilize the nation’s best-selling tool, the Thomas-Kilmann conflict mode instrument – an easy-to-use, self-scoring exercise that rates an individual’s preference among the five conflict modes. Your people are capable of using all five modes: competing; accommodating; avoiding; collaborating; or compromising. It is applying each mode appropriately that determines whether your team’s interactions will be constructive or destructive. Our program is experiential and enjoyable while building knowledge and skill around this key workplace competency.
Team Energizer Workshop!
How about a totally customized workshop that is exciting, fast paced, and designed around your time and your team! The team energizer program is “your” program!
This collaborative effort is designed to promote team spirit, growth, bonding and self-insight. Through a series of experiential, low element challenges and group problem solving initiatives, our facilitators will help your team on the path to reaching a higher potential. This is not a motivational speaking conference. It’s a “hands on” team workshop designed to improve communication, set team goals and reflect on team norms! Facilitators specialize in creating a dynamic, exciting and productive program using the Adventure Based Education (ABE) model with emphasis on celebration as a team! This program is great indoors or out!
Program Includes: pre-program assessment, low element team initiatives, staff facilitation, all supplies necessary to deliver event and team building fun!
DiSC Team Workshop!
DiSC is one model of “human behavior” that helps people to understand why they do what they do. The variations of Dominance, influencing, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness make up the model and interact with other factors to describe human behavior.
After a quick written assessment or pre program online assessment, participants are engaged in an interactive, experiential based workshop designed to further integrate understanding of the model within your team. Our own unique patterns distinguish us from one another, and express our individual identities just like our thumbprint. Each DiSC style has great strengths, and potential limitations. Join our staff as we explore the incredible dimensions of human dynamics, decision making and leadership!
Program includes: assessment of each participant, interactive workshop, all necessary tools and equipment for delivery of program and of course, team building fun!
