GPS Geo-Adventure! A

Talk about a “high tech” adventure! Using hand-held GPS units, teams race around the hotel property, local park, or other chosen venue, trying to find secret locations pre-programmed into the GPS. Once they are within 20 feet of the location, the team must rely on problem and clue solving techniques to find the hidden cache! Solve fun trivia questions and other unique team challenges for bonus points…all in a race to the finish line! Exciting, fun, and technology driven, this program is a sure win!

Program Includes: GPS units, Polaroid or digital cameras for each team, course set-up, instruction, staff facilitation and team building adventure!

Location Ideas: on grounds of hotel, Balboa Park, or Old Town San Diego. You pick a location and we can make it happen!

The Incredible Race! C

Using cameras, creativity, navigational skills and a good map, participants are sent on a “collective” mission. Whether downtown, your favorite tourist destination, city park, or even on the grounds of your hotel this program is fast paced and fun! Teams race to get as many answers, complete as many tasks and find as many clues as they can before racing to the finish line! Great for all groups and all abilities as teams need to collaborate to succeed! Teams conclude the race by creating an exciting storyboard of their journey!

Program Examples:

1. Take a picture of a teammate living “the GOOD life”.

2. Find a coin made the year your company was founded.

3. Find out the name of a local celebrity.

Program Includes: Polaroid or digital cameras (optional), staff facilitation, approved scavenger list, team storyboards and supplies to create the storyboards, icebreakers, group celebration and team building adventure!

Rock Climbing / Hiking! D

Working with the most experienced rock climbing and hiking guides in the country, our staff makes this experience accessible to all levels and abilities. Participants arrive with ropes, shoes and themselves ready to go. Meanwhile, our local hiking guides will host the “vertically challenged” for some ground based fun. An informative and exciting afternoon with all equipment included. Transportation and park entrance fee are additional cost. Joshua Tree National Park, Mission Gorge San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles locations available! This is truly an adventure of a lifetime!

Program Includes: all necessary rock climbing equipment, instruction, professional hiking & climbing guides, bottled water, power snacks and team building adventure!

High Ropes Course Adventure! D

This “high adventure” team building program requires a collaborative effort designed to promote team spirit, individual growth, bonding and self-insight. A New Team Adventure will create a dynamic, exciting and productive program using the Adventure Based Education (ABE) model with emphasis on celebration as a team. Team members are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones as they reach for challenges with the support of the entire team. This program can be very physically challenging but also provides placement for those who may want to keep their feet on the ground. Celebration of the shared success between team members is incredibly powerful piece of this program for all participants.

A New Team Adventure’s friendly and professional facilitators are sensitive to the needs of all team members and specialize in facilitating beginner adventure programs. This program is appropriate for participants of all physical and skill levels.

Program Includes: full facilitation of program, all safety and participant instructions, all necessary equipment, over all coordination of event and team building adventure!

The Road Rally! B

Using a local map, a set of clues, collaboration and team focus, participants drive throughout the town in their convertible rental cars. Visiting local parks, outdoor shopping venues, and points of interest, teams answer trivia questions, find artifacts and enjoy this relaxed race in the Southern California sunshine! Upon arrival to their destinations, they set off to find clues, take pictures and sometimes find treasures. Includes plenty of unique team challenges! Exciting, fun, and technology driven, this program is a great way to visit some of the desirable locations right here in town. Also applicable to small coaches, vans and buses!

Program Includes: Auto GPS units, Polaroid or digital cameras, trivia, course set-up, instruction, facilitation of event and team building adventure!

Go for Gold Treasure Hunt! C

Bring your best sleuthing skills for this adventure! Teams set out for the adventure equipped with radios, cameras, shovels, clues, location hints and word puzzles to find the hidden treasures! Teams strategize to find the easy treasure or the most difficult. Who has just the right amount of detective in them to win the great treasure hunt?

Example: Find a woman near the main pool wearing a straw hat. Shhhh…. She will provide you with a map to the treasure near the beach. You are to follow the map and quickly dig!

Program Includes: all necessary location prep, clues, cameras, tools, full facilitation and team building adventure!

Bird Watching 101! D

Time to enjoy the fastest growing outdoor adventure in the country! According to Readers Digest magazine, this activity is taking the outdoor market by storm with over 25 billion in revenue last year. Join our knowledgeable bird guides for a colorful journey through the spectacular desert domain, coastal lagoons or any hotspot we can find that suits your group. The tour includes an introductory “how-to” bird watching lesson, binoculars, printed bird guide handouts and the excitement of discovering some of nature’s best kept secrets. Our experienced, locally based birding guides will open the door to the beauty of our wonderful feathered friends, while getting your group outside and into the fresh air. Fun, informative, exciting, and healthy, this program is a sure hit with all ages!

Program Includes: bottled water, printed handouts, binoculars (1:3 participants), professional guides and team building adventure! Programs are two to four hours in duration. Transportation, National Park entrance fee and Tram tickets are additional.

Climb Portable Rock Wall! D

Let us bring the excitement to you with our 26 foot high, portable rock climbing wall. The rock wall is designed with a variety of difficulty levels and accommodates four climbers at a time! Our experienced rock climbing assistants will be there to safely introduce your teammates to rock climbing, fun, fitness and help them reach the top!

The rock wall sets up in minutes, but the memories will last a lifetime.
