Core Staff

Paul Blanchard – Owner

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Purchase College in New York Paul moved to Palm Springs in 1995 to start a rock climbing / corporate adventure business. Utilizing his background in adventure programming, business development and rock climbing guiding, Paul soon moved into an experiential based team development business and has worked throughout Southern California and the United States ever since.

Matt Landis – Program Coordinator

Matt began his career with a rock climbing class back in 1978, since then has worked in many capacities and worn many hats within the Corporate organizational development world. Working with corporate groups in an experiential format for more that 25 years Matt brings incredible knowledge, wisdom and insight to our programs. His resume is highlighted with an enormous list of accomplished clients who rely on him for everything from personal coaching to overall workgroup success.

Heather Hafner – Lead Facilitator

Heather Hafner’s background in professional athletics gives her a unique perspective on team development. A former professional volleyball player and sportswriter for the Los Angeles Times, Heather has seen and experienced great teams in action. For the past decade, Heather has worked with corporate teams across the country in a variety of consulting capacities -- from leadership development to conflict resolution.

Andrew Booth – Lead Facilitator

Andrew Booth has worked within and consulted to international corporations creating and overseeing multinational teams in high technology, international trade, and tourism in Asia, the United States, and Europe. In addition to creating and operating his own business, speaking five languages, and living and working on three continents, he has worked in a professional capacity conducting market research and analysis, project planning and scheduling, international business development, and marketing and sales management. Since 2000 he has participated in the evolution of A New Team Adventure and its services as program facilitator and team leader.
